Color Wheel and Article
Reflection
While doing this project the thing that worked well was finding objects that went with the color wheel. The most challenging thing was getting my camera to work right and not take blurry photos. The thing I would do differently next time is take multiple shots of the same thing and pick which image was the best. I didn't really use any special tools on photo shop but while taking the pictures I used photographer lights to help take a good picture of each object. The things I learned while doing this project were mostly using different modes on the camera and what a difference the white balance makes for a photo.
Article- explanation of RGB and CMYK color spaces
RGB= Red, Green and Blue
CMYK= Cyan, Yellow, Magenta and Black
These things are used when printing
CYMK is much older way of displaying color and RGB is used when taking the pictures.
RGB color space is reserved for sources that emit light, the more color you add the closer to white that you will get. Adding up all the colors of the rainbow gets you white. RGB Color space has three main categories; ProPhoto RGB, Adobe RGB and sRGB
ProPhoto has the largest range, Adobe in the middle and sRGB is the smallest but is the most commonly used.
The CYMK Color Space is the opposite of RGB. The more color you add the closer to black you get= reflected light. While printing it doesn't use light is uses ink which absorbs light.
When all inks are added together all the light is absorbed giving you black.
RGB- CYMK relationship; red is controlled by cyan, green is controlled by magenta and blue is controlled by yellow.
Tripod Project
Reflection
The thing that worked well was taking the pictures and copy each individual shot to make one whole one. The most challenging was when taking the pictures, getting photos that had all the same lighting since it was a cloudy day and the light source ( sun) kept moving. Next time I would definitely take all my shots inside so I can have a light source that wouldn't move. I used the quick selection tool and then copied and pasted apart of the image and pasted it to a new picture. I can use the things I learned to know how to use a tri pod properly which can come in handy throughout life, especially when photographers run in the family.

The thing that worked well and was the easiest for me was taking all those pictures. The most challenging was deciding which pictured belonged in each category and which did not and which picture was the best for that category. Next time I would just take one or two pictures for each category that way it would be easy to decide between two pictures rather than ten. I can use this outside of the classroom because it helped me use my eyes in different ways and use lighting and angles to my advantage.
